What is BMI?
Body Mass Index is a simple screening measure: weight (kg) ÷ height (m)². It's a useful rough indicator for adults, though it doesn't account for muscle mass, age or body composition — athletes, for instance, may have a high BMI without excess fat. Treat it as a starting point, not a diagnosis, and consult a healthcare professional for real guidance.
